**CFFF HAS MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION

The Colorado Fallen Firefighters Foundation was formed in 1989 to recognize the State’s fallen firefighters on a permanent memorial and support the fire families who have suffered this loss. The memorial assures that future Coloradans will remember their sacrifice. The Foundation recognizes all firefighters killed in the line of duty (LODD) whether volunteer, career, union or non-union, structural or wildland. The foundation also recognizes federal firefighters killed while assigned to Colorado fires even if they lived in another state. The foundation’s memorial is located in Lakewood, Colorado on Allison Parkway.
Fire departments offer different levels of support to the surviving families based on each department’s resources. The Colorado Fallen Firefighter Foundation provides additional, tangible support to the families of those killed in the line of duty. A permanent fund has been established to aid the families of fallen firefighters with services such as counseling and family support, legal aid, education assistance and job training. Since the creation of the fund, the foundation has assisted families to attend the National Fallen Firefighter Memorial Service in Emmitsburg, Maryland and has given multiple scholarships to the children of fallen firefighters.
A bronze life-sized memorial on pillars of Colorado rose granite will forever mark the ultimate sacrifice these men and women made. Situated in Lakewood, Colorado, the memorial is engraved with more than 172 names of Colorado's fallen firefighters. The fallen firefighters memorial will represent their deeds in dignity for all time.
The firefighters who have fallen while working to protect lives and property in Colorado are honored at the Fallen Firefighters memorial in Lakewood Colorado. Currently there are 172 names on the memorial.
The Colorado Fallen Firefighters Foundation was established in August of 1989 by a group of interested fire personnel and survivors of fallen firefighters to provide support for the families of firefighters killed in the line of duty.
The Colorado Fallen Firefighters Foundation sincerely appreciates all donations. The funds are used to support families who have experienced a line of duty death.
